Walking home today I found a box left by a garbage bin. It had old New Scientist magazines in it so I felt I ought to have a quick (nervous) rumage.
This strange collection of black and white prints were to be found. Some of them are holiday snaps, some of architecture in Toronto, some of a protest (my housemate thought around the G8 summit) and some of a jazz band.
An odd little view of a strangers world is now lying on my bed.

We found an odd little shrine at the top of our street. It's since been kicked down, so with no explanation as to why it was there I have come up with many of my own fancies. One night it was lit up with candles.
There are many strange things in this city, in one of the big parks someone taped 'I miss you' across the entire fence.
There's a little garden that sprung up by some rubble with 'please water me' signs.
And as I was walking home, someone had pushed paper cups into all of the bars to spell out 'discrepancy'.
